Peter Harris
Peter Harris is a highly experienced communications practitioner with more than 30 years’ experience in corporate affairs, government relations and public affairs. He has been an award winning journalist, senior government media adviser, highly credentialed public relations strategist and successful business owner.
Prior to establishing Peter Harris & Associates, he was Managing Director and joint owner of Professional Public Relations in Western Australia, and later Executive Director of PPR Australia. He grew PPR’s WA business to be the Number 1 agency in Western Australia from 2000 to 2016. Peter has extensive experience in Federal, State and Local Government relations, as well as being a highly regarded practitioner in issues and crisis management, investor and media relations, and reputation management.
Peter Harris is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA), WA Chair of the Registered Consultancies Group of the PRIA, Board member of CrimeStoppers WA, and committee member of The 500 Club.
