Tim Larcombe
As Managing Consultant of PR PERTH, Tim Larcombe has 30 years’ experience in media and public affairs. Tim has managed crisis and incident communications for a number of high profile and politically charged events, including major industrial accidents, coronial enquires, and for organisations impacted by Crime and Corruption Commission investigations.
A specialist in incident response communications, Tim has been a standing member of multiple oil and gas EMT / CMT structures including for BP, Murphy Oil, Neptune Energy, Vermilion Energy, PTTEP, Perseus Mining and Santos.
Tim also designs and implements community consultation programs, including as part of the formal public comment process for major projects.
Tim was Oil & Gas Practice Lead at Professional Public Relations from 2013-2017 managing corporate and public affairs services for a large portfolio of national clients.
From 2008-2012, Tim was Public Affairs Manager for INPEX Corporation, operator of the Ichthys LNG project. Tim was instrumental in designing and implementing the company’s successful community consultation program during the critical period of formal environmental approval for the Ichthys gas plant in Darwin.
